The PNW is lush and green, but what comes with that, is dampness and mild temperatures that are the perfect environment for a host of different plant diseases and pests. If you have plant(s) that do not look healthy, the very first step is to properly identify the problem. It could be environmental, disease, insect or in some cases a normal phase in the plants growth cycle. We are more that happy to take a look and see if we can help you diagnose, but please bag and seal any plant sample you bring in to the nursery to prevent contamination. Another great resource is your local county extension office- they often have educated specialists on site.

Once you have identified the problem, the next step is to choose a method of control. It is of upmost importance to do your due diligence in reading product labels. While we mostly carry only organic pest/disease controls, organic methods still require just as much thought and consideration.
